About

The roastery on Queen Street

A working roastery, with a counter as a side effect.

Wickwood Roasters roasts behind a roller shutter on Queen Street, Smithfield. The drum takes 12kg and runs on Tuesday and Thursday, working through two house blends that stay the same from week to week and one single origin that doesn't.

The counter at the front has four stools. It exists because the roastery is there, not the other way round: most of what comes off the drum goes out wholesale, collected or dropped to around a dozen cafés and offices across Dublin 7. Bags and wholesale accounts are the same coffee, just different sizes.
